Students discover a host of opportunities at our annual Careers Fair

We are delighted that our annual Careers Fair, which recently took place at the Academy, was a resounding success. Representatives from a diverse group of training providers and local colleges participated in the event, where they shared valuable information about future career opportunities available to our students.

The event aimed to provide students with a unique opportunity to explore various career paths, connect with training providers and gain valuable insights into their future options. During the event, students and their parents had the opportunity to engage with training providers and representatives from FE Colleges, Universities, businesses, and other service organisations.

The Careers Fair not only served as an informative platform but also to inspire and motivate students as they contemplate their next steps.  At the Academy we are committed to providing comprehensive support to our students and we recognise the pivotal role such events play in ensuring that each student is well-equipped to make informed choices when they leave us at the end of Year 11.

The Careers Fair was organised by the Academy’s Careers Leader, Miss Walker, who told us: “Our annual Careers Fair was once again hugely successful in raising aspirations for our students. It was lovely to walk around the Careers Fair and to see our students enjoying talking to employers and training providers about future plans and gaining an insight into different colleges, careers, roles and working life. A massive thank you to all our external visitors who attended and once again made the event such a success.”

We are most grateful to our visitors from the following organisations whose time and contributions helped our students explore valuable future career opportunities:
