Knowledge Organisers
At the start of each new unit of study, students across all year groups are given a knowledge organiser by each subject teacher, which is placed in their books to act as a point of support and as a reference point for recalling and retrieving prior learning. Knowledge organisers cover the following aspects of learning:
- What is important to know before I start learning (prior learning)?
- What is the key knowledge I will learn in this unit?
- What is the most important vocabulary for this unit?
- Where will I use this knowledge in the future, and when will be revisited?
