The event, organised by Miss Healey and members of the Academy's Student Parliament, celebrated the fantastic achievements of our students so far this academic year. Prizes were awarded for achievement in each subject area, in addition to awards from Student Managers and  Headteacher, Mr Burton.

We were delighted to welcome Dr Ikram Butt to the Academy to present the awards. Ikram is an English former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1980s and 1990s. We are most grateful to Ikram for presenting the awards to our students.

Thank you to everyone who supported the event and to our members of staff and students who made it possible. We encourage all our students to 'be nice, and work hard'. Well done to all who received awards last term.
