Year 8 and 9 students participated in an inspiring Talk the Talk Oracy Workshop designed to boost confidence and enhance communication skills. Throughout the day, students engaged in collaborative activities and learned how to express themselves clearly and effectively.

The workshop concluded with students delivering speeches to their peers—a powerful moment that showcased their progress and bravery. Many students reported finding the experience highly beneficial, with huge achievements made in both confidence and public speaking. It was a day of growth and success for all involved!

The event was organised by English teacher, Miss Wrighton, as part of the Academy’s aim to prepare and equip students with essential life-long skills.
