Year 10 Performing Arts students embarked on an inspiring and enriching day-long visit to Production Park, an iconic hub of creative industries. The trip was designed to give students an opportunity to network with industry professionals and gain valuable insight into future educational and career pathways within the arts sector.

The students had the opportunity to meet and interact with seasoned professionals in the arts industry, from sound engineers and stage managers to performers and designers. These interactions provided an inside look into various roles within the industry and offered valuable advice on skills, training, and career growth. Representatives from colleges and universities shared information on courses, application processes, and what to expect from higher and further education in the arts.

The trip also included a tour of the Production Park facilities. Seeing these facilities first-hand gave students an appreciation for the scale and technology involved in professional productions.

The trip was not just educational but also motivational. Students left with a deeper understanding of the many pathways available to them within the performing arts industry and the steps they need to take to pursue their passions. The opportunity to connect with professionals and educators alike was invaluable for sparking excitement about the future and reinforcing their aspirations in the arts.
